If the job of any automatic punch programming system is to closely adhere to the programmer’s preferences in terms of tool selection and general methodology, sensitivity to the real capabilities and limitations of a customer’s tooling and machinery is just as essential. PDB200 does both.

We understand the importance of considering the real-world hardware possibilities when generating NC programs.  We also allow programmers to express their preferences within the bounds of available tooling and machine capabilities.

Tool and die Key Angles are considered while user preference also determines the degree of liberty that the PDB2000 system may take in diverting from a tool’s standard angle.  Permanent tools, Semi-permanent tools and Changeable tools are respected as well.

These and other features set the PDB2000 system apart in terms of intelligence and flexibility.
